Photo One:

Above are twenty images from my first year of photography. I did not know what I was doing at the beginning. I was clueless on how to use the rule of thirds or shot types. I was barely learning how to use them. May first year of photography was slow but it was worth it. I think my photos were decent back then. They aren't like the ones I take now. Back then I was not comfortable with working with object or other subject, like people for example. I only took pictures of people because I had to. When I got the chance to take pictures of things that aren't alive or things that aren't people, I took it. I didn't like working with people. I noticed majority of my best photos from photo one were close ups. I attempted to try the rule pf thirds but it wasn't quite right. Photo one was interesting.
Photo Two:

Above are twenty images from Photo Two. The have improved from Photo one. I started incorporating people and props. When I did the flowers in water project, that one was the most time consuming project I've ever done. It wasn't difficult at all. It was probably the most expensive project Ive done too. I think I spent a little over $40 on the flowers and bath bombs for the water. I really enjoyed the self portraits I did with the moon. My moon series was the funnest project. I like self portraits. For photo two I improved with rule of thirds and depth of field. Along with shot types. I got more comfortable with taking pictures of other people. My techniques have improved a lot, compared to photo one.
Photo Three:

Above are twenty images from my photo three year. I think they are similar to photo two. My techniques didn't really improve from photo two. They stayed about the same. I did however incorporate more people. I started getting comfortable around other subjects. I traveled to other places to take pictures. I went to New Mexico Tech in socorro and McCalls Pumpkin Patch. I got to see a new perspective of a few places. The places I went helped me see that there is more to New Mexico rather than just Albuquerque.
Photography has been my escape from reality since ninth grade. I have always loved to take pictures. I love to get outside and be able to new places to take pictures. I have had a great experience being in each photography class. Photo one was very slow but I did need to know the basics. The rule of thirds helped me a lot. How to angle the camera at a subject is a huge component. Photoshop is definitely a huge component in photography. I am glad i learned how to use photoshop. With photography I can make money through it. You have helped me become a better photographer. I have improved over the years. I bought two cameras so I can improve my skills in photography. In photography one my photos were decent and clearly needed improvement. In photography two, my photography skills improved by a lot, I started using a little bit of props. I also did self portraits. I was never comfortable working with people and once I got to photo three I got a little more comfortable. I do prefer to work alone but I will work with other people if I have to. If I do decide to become a professional photographer, I would need to get comfortable around people. Photography class has been my favorite class throughout high school. I have never been good at any type of art and then I took photography and its something I am confident in. You always showed me what I should change about an image or how I should edit an image. It really helped. I do plan on continuing on with photography throughout college. Ill probably minor in photography at UNM.
